Born too late Nestled in the heart of Valencia, CA is John Studden's Valencia Signs and Graphics shop. The location seems to suit the multi-talented Englishman just fine, providing a vast array of projects ranging from vinyl sign jobs to custom carved work. Originally, John began art school in England intending to become a technical illustrator but later learned the sign business instead. When asked what his favorite type of work is, he predictably replies "I enjoy the old period style gold leaf work the most. Sometimes I feel like I was born a hundred years too late."
